RoboTurn Assist 10 is a compact, user-friendly collaborative robot cell engineered to automate part handling for CNC machines. With a 10 kg payload, 1,418 mm reach, and repeatability of ±0.04 mm, it ensures precise, efficient, and repeatable loading and unloading of parts. Ideal for both high-mix, low-volume and continuous production environments, it offers seamless integration with existing machines.
Preparatory Stage
Before the cycle begins, the operator activates the lathe and RoboTurn Assist 10, unlocks the interface tablet, and launches the control app. Once the payload and motion envelope are validated, the robot resumes its last known position, and control of the lathe is handed over. The system is now ready for autonomous operation.
Table Logistics
Automatic Table Switching – When all parts on a table are machined, RoboTurn Assist 10 pushes the table to the loading zone and activates a green flashing light.
Continuous Operation – If a second table is available, the robot pulls it in and continues uninterrupted.
Empty Table Alert – If both tables are empty, the system halts and sounds an alarm.
Smart Resumption – Operation resumes automatically after tables are reloaded.
Safety Features
RoboTurn Assist 10 is equipped with perimeter monitoring for safe operation. During table movement, a safety camera ensures a 0.4 m safety zone around the robot. If this boundary is breached, the system stops immediately and triggers an alarm.
